There is no need to buy any equipment, no lengthy research, and doesn’t consume more time out of your day. All you have to do is simply keep it up and continue to gradually raise your intensity as the days go on. Usually, when runners try a new form of training, they often find themselves forced to purchase new gear like shoes and running wear, and if the new training takes up more time, they sometimes have to re-organize their schedule. This is not the case with HIIT, as there is nothing you need besides determination and a good attitude.
