Muirfield Village Golf Club
This home to The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers was established in 1744. Jack Nicklaus won his first British Open on this course, and the course, itself, is considered a challenging feat for even the most experienced player. This course is located in Scotland and is used in rotation for The Open Championship (and has hosted it for a total of 16 times). Muirfield has also hosted The Amateur Championship, The Ryder Cup, 2 Walker Cups, 2 Curtis Cups, and a multitude of other highly respected tournaments.
