The story for the writing of this song is that Merle asked Bonnie to go out and pick him up a cheeseburger, and by the time Bonnie returned, Merle had already written the lyrics. “I’m right back to where I’ve really always been, I got over you just long enough to let my heartache mend” sings the duo in this ode about finding the love we once had for someone special within ourselves.
