3. Inverted Hamstring Stretch

hamstring-inverted-stretchThe purpose of the inverted hamstring stretch is to make sure your hamstrings are flexible enough to propel your core muscles. This will help you avoid developing pain in your lower back from playing golf.

For this, you will need enough room to stand and bend over with an outstretched leg.

How to do the exercise:

  1. Stand on one leg with your arms outstretched at your side.
  2. Bend from your waist and raise the leg that you are not standing on back until it is parallel with the ground.
  3. Continue until you feel your hamstring stretch.
  4. Return to your starting position.
  5. Then switch legs and repeat.
  6. Do this 6 times for each leg

Benefits for your golf game

This exercise will help you keep a good posture during your swing and help you hit the ball better and harder.
