9. Drop Step Lunge
The purpose of the drop step lunge exercise is to work the hip muscles to strengthen and stretch them. It also helps to strengthen your glutes. This is another great exercise if you want to improve your swing.
For this, you don't need very much room, just enough to stand.
How to do the exercise:
- Stand straight with your hands in front of your chest.
- Step back with your left leg and place it across your right leg so that it is about 3 feet behind you. Your legs should now be crossed.
- Squat down by sitting back and down.
- Stand up, and repeat with your other leg.
- Repeat 6 times
