Fisher's Island Club
This 18-hole course has been dubbed the “Cypress Point of the East” and has incredible views of the Block Island Sound’s beautiful strait coastal scenery. Fisher’s Island Club opened in 1926 and was designed by Seth Raynor, who patterned many of the course’s holes after designs such as the Alps, Biarritz, Double Plateau, Punchbowl, and Short architectural concepts. The course is not only challenging but also creatively constructed. Don’t just take our word for it, Fisher Island had this to say about their 4th green: “Looking from behind the 4th green at the hill that one's approach must carry - not many architects would have the courage to build the same hole today, which is a pity as many consider it the most exciting one on the course.”
