History of Use
The Peppermint plant flourishes in North America and Europe and has been used for centuries as a medicinal herb. Dried Peppermint leaves have been found in Egyptian pyramids dating 1000 B.C. The plant has a long history as a folk medicine in the states, and is currently being used to treat a variety of ailments.
