Use Capsicum
Ancient Chinese and Indian tribes were known to apply capsicum on bruises and muscular pain. Capsicum, produces heat which stimulates circulation and increases blood flow to the site of pain. Capsicum’s power to minimize both pain and inflammation comes from its ability to reduce the production of Substance P in the body. Substance P is a neurotransmitter for the human body that transmits signals of pain to your brain and central nervous system. Basically, it informs your body when and where you have pain. According to a study published in the Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology in April 2008, Capsicum decreased inflammation and pain in mice. Capsicum is useful for the pain caused by nerve damage (neuropathy). This effect of capsicum makes it ideal for any treatment regimen that targets carpal tunnel syndrome. Due to its pivotal role, this plant is being studied for the treatment of other conditions, such as migraine, toothache, colic, etc.
