On October 24, you should probably stay away from Ah-Nab-Awen Park unless you know what you’re getting into. The Zombie Dash offers an exhilarating 5K run through darkness, abandoned cars and (yep, that’s right) zombies! You will be given 3 “life strips” to tuck into your pants or shorts and for each one you keep safe until the finish line you’ll have one minute subtracted from your time! Rest assured, if the format is a little too scary, you can always run without the “life strips” with no zombies bothering you. As far as the course goes, be careful- the streets have potholes, there are pitch black sections, steep stairs, and narrow spots.

Registration for individuals running solo is $45, and if you register before Oct. 16, you will receive a free shirt. Children’s registration is free with an adult entry. If you would rather sign up as a zombie to wait along the course and take life strips, it is only $10 and includes a free shirt!
