Ginger May Lower Blood Sugar and Reduce Risk of Heart Disease
Some studies have demonstrated how ginger may have powerful anti-diabetic properties and may lower blood sugar and reduce your risk of heart disease. In one particular study, participants with type-II diabetes ingested 2 grams of ginger powder each day, and researchers noticed that these participants not only had lower blood sugar but also reduced HbA1c (a marker for a person’s blood sugar level) by 10% in 3 months.
