Wyatt Earp

wyatt-earpOne of the most well-known and notorious gunslingers was the lawman, Wyatt Earp. Including the infamous shootout at the O.K. Corral, Earp was involved in several shootouts while working as a sheriff in Wichita, KS, Dodge City, KS, and Tombstone, AZ. Feared by many outlaws and thugs of the time, the O.K. Corral shootout led to a retaliation by bandits, killing Wyatt’s brother Morgan and wounding Virgil. That just made Earp angry, sending him and a team of gunfighters (including Doc Holliday) on a journey of vendetta to take the lives of all who were involved with the murder of his brother. According to the legend you choose to believe, Wyatt Earp was known to have killed anywhere from 8 to 30 men during his career as a lawman.
