James Stewart
James Stewart is noted for several defining roles as an actor, however, some of his best work was in Westerns. The Man from Laramie, Shenandoah, and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance were some of his most noteworthy Western films. His on-screen personality was known to be “down to earth” and it was reflected in his cool, calm acting style. Stewart was a WWII and Vietnam Veteran, and achieved the rank of Brigadier General in the United States Air Force. The Academy Award winning actor left a legacy of charitable organizations and a film career that was, and still is, inspiring to many up-and-coming actors.
