Peace and War

roosevelt-nobel-peace-prize-medal-honorTheodore Roosevelt was the first president to receive a Nobel Peace Prize for negotiating an end to the Russo-Japanese War. This was not only a big deal for a president, but considering that Teddy won a prize for peace, and also the Congressional Medal of Honor for battling the Spanish at San Juan Hill, it reveals to us that Roosevelt was good at both extremes of peace and war. There are not many other presidents that can make such claims.
