Finger Joint Flex
With your affected hand resting on a table, turn your palm towards the ceiling. With the opposite hand, grasp one of the forefingers at the middle (between the two knuckle joints). Simply raise the finger upwards with the opposite hand and straighten the finger at the same time. When done properly, the hand and other fingers will be flat, while one finger is pointed straight to the ceiling. It’s not going to look perfect, and the object of this exercise is to strengthen and flex the joints in the fingers. It will keep blood pumping regularly, and ease swelling in the joints of the fingers.
