Strengthening Your Pinch
This one requires either a stress ball, or better yet, some putty that you can easily press without pain. With either of these items, simply pinch or squeeze the ball/putty with only two fingers (your thumb and a forefinger). When Arthritis sets in, being able to pinch objects can become harder and more painful. This exercise will keep these finger muscles flexed and active, and help blood to flow around the joints in your hands.
