3:10 to Yuma
The notoriously brutal outlaw, Ben Wade (Russell Crowe), has been taken into custody after a stagecoach robbery conducted by him and his crew. Since impoverished farmer, Dan Evans (Christian Bale), owes money to the office and men who captured Wade, he offers to join their force in order to guard and escort Wade to the Yuma Territorial Prison, where Wade is destined to spend the remainder of his days. The office agrees and Evans, who has met Wade before, journeys with the other men to deliver Wade to the train to Yuma. In the end, a protagonists finds meaning in doing the right thing and upholding his family name. It is a remake of the 1957 classic film starring Glenn Ford and Van Heflin. The 2007 remake was nominated for 2 academy awards and won a SAG award for Best Cast.
