Farmer’s Carry
This exercise is usually performed with low-weight dumbbells or other types of small low-weight items. Simply stand with the weights carried to your side and walk a certain distance for roughly 10-15 seconds. This exercise trains your hands to carry items while you are in motion and allows for a firmer grip with items that weigh more or less than what you practice with. Your forearms, shoulders, hips and other muscles get a workout as well. You can always increase the weight or distance whenever you feel like.
