Marathon de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel
Ah, France again. With a coastal run ending in the island village of Mont Saint-Michel, beautiful countryside motivates you with every step. This marathon is unique, as you can actually see the finish line from the start of the race. This race is relatively easy as most of the course is flat, and with only around 4,500 participants running there’s plenty of elbow room. Take the time to enjoy the spectacular seafood in Cancale and Vivier-sur-Mer (known for their mussels). After that, take the time to recover your legs by dipping them in France’s cool ocean waters. Since you’re in France, you will have to have a doctor’s note from within the last year in order to participate.
