Finger Pinch Exerciser
Finger pinch exercisers look a lot like clothespins and work much in the same way as clothespins do. These are made to help strengthen the pincer grasp that often deteriorates when you suffer from arthritis. The pinch exercisers are graded for increasing pinch strength, as well as coordination.
The finger pinch exercisers are available in five different resistance levels, which, like some of the other gadgets we’ve looked at, is great for developing strength in the hands as you progress through the exercises. The five resistance levels are one pound, two pounds, four pounds, six pounds, and eight pounds.
The finger pinch exercisers often come with metal rods of different diameters to help encourage the user to open the pinch exercisers in different places to get them onto the rods. As the pincer grasp is increased, the muscles in the rest of the hand and wrist are also strengthened. These exercisers are best used in combination with some of the other exercisers on our list.
