Jim "Killer" Miller
Jim Miller was a famous assassin and gunslinger who is credited with killing anywhere from 14-50 people during his lifetime. Thought to have murdered a cattle rancher, Sheriff Bud Frazer confronted Miller one day, which ended with the two firing shots at each other. Miller escaped the gunfight alive, and his accomplices discovered that Miller was wearing a metal plate under his shirt, which had blocked Frazer’s bullets. 2 years later, Miller tracked the Sheriff down and killed him with a shotgun. Miller was known for his ruthlessness and his tactics of killing anyone for the right amount of money; this included politicians, outlaws, and sheriffs. After he was arrested for the murder of a U.S. Marshall, a mob broke into the jail, dragged him and 3 of his fellow crew members to a nearby barn, and lynched them.
