14. Shoulder Exercise
For the perfect golf swing, it is also important to keep your shoulders flexible because if the shoulder area is tense it will cause you to hook your shot. This exercise also helps develop good balance for your golf swing.
For this exercise, you will need a golf club.
How to do the exercise:
- Place your left leg about 2 feet behind you and point your toe to the ground.
- Hold the golf club to your chest with your arms folded over.
- Move your shoulders forward so that you balance on your right leg.
- Gently rotate your shoulders forward and backward. While doing this you can raise your left leg slightly off the ground.
- Repeat as necessary, and then switch to your other leg.
Benefits for golf
This exercise helps to develop a much better swing because your stance mimics how you need to balance for the swing. The more flexible your shoulders are, then the better you will be able to swing the golf club.
