May Protect Against Alzheimer’s Disease

Studies have suggested that antioxidants and other bioactive compounds commonly found in ginger, may reduce inflammatory responses occurring in the brain. One particular study involving 60 women participants, showed an increase in reaction time and working memory when they were consuming a ginger extract, compared to those who did not take a ginger extract. Other studies have shown animals who ingest ginger have a less age-related decline in brain function.
